Wilson has written for The Independent, FourFourTwo magazine and The Daily Telegraph, and was football correspondent for the Financial Times from 2002 to 2006. He was unable to continue on to postgraduate studies at Oxford after failing to attain a first-class degree and instead read for a Master's degree at Durham University, where he was a member of the Graduate Society. Wilson studied English at Oxford University and was sports editor of the student paper, The Oxford Student. He also appears on The Guardian 's football podcast, Football Weekly". He is a columnist for World Soccer and Unibet and founder and editor of The Blizzard. Jonathan Mark Wilson (born 9 July 1976) is a British sports journalist and author who writes for a number of publications, including The Guardian and Sports Illustrated.
